Pros

Considering there is a 20-word minimum to this 'Pros' section, I would have to say that the ONLY good thing about working at this company is the initial freedom one feels on his/her first day of employment (prior to coming to the realization that he/she has just been hustled)...

Cons

Here's how FX Promotions works: upon applying online, you'll receive a call from the "HR Rep" within a couple of days telling you that you're actually "over-qualified" for the position and that you're "more management material". You'll get excited, of course, and you'll agree to go in for an interview "as soon as you possibly can". You'll get to FX Promotions' "Orlando Headquarters" and quickly realize that their HQ is actually just one run-down, rented-out office space in an old, desolate building off Lee Road. It's seems a little strange, but you go with it anyway...because (after all) you're about to interview for that BIG management position, right? Not really. You'll meet the big-man-in-charge, Leroy, and he'll charm you up, assure you that you are indeed over-qualified, that he "desperately needs more people like you", that FX Promotions just landed a HUGE contract with a cosmetics firm based out of California, and - oh yeah - he needs you to start AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. "Can you start tomorrow?!?" You're so excited, but you tell him you'll have to wait a few days to rearrange your schedule, etc. Sorry...that's not good enough. You HAVE to start tomorrow otherwise the position will be filled. So you call off everything (including your current, STABLE job) so you can start raking in the big bucks with Leroy. What happens when you show up the next day - your first day on the job? You realize that you're nothing but a business-to-business salesman. Literally. You'll be assigned a specific region in Central Florida and you and your "coach" will go out to as many businesses as possible, walk in during business hours, and harass the employees AND customers to buy your make-up...that is, until you're kicked out by security and/or management. But, guess what?!? You get to do it again...RIGHT. NEXT. DOOR. Until you're kicked out again. And this humiliating cycle continues until you have to report back to "headquarters" at 5:00PM (which is when Leroy will take your 'hard-earned' money, take his approximate 70% cut and give you the rest). And by the way...you're expected to do this Monday through Saturday...

Pros

I recently moved back to Orlando and was excited to touch base on the firm that I worked with last year. Reading these glassdoor reviews came as a surprise considering that I never had a bad experience. Many of my past co-workers have moved on to manage other locations and are starting their own business thanks to the training that LeRoy provided. It is unfortunate that as job seekers we come to trusted sites and because someone who didn't get a job offer is disgruntled and wants to destroy opportunities for others. I have been back with Fx Promotions and can't stand to hear people discredit a legitimate business. I have received EVERY check- on time. Upper Management is always looking to help me succeed and my co-workers are proud, like myself to know that we are making a difference. I worked many hours and worked really hard to where I am now. Patience is virtue. You cannot possibly expect to move up in ranks when you haven't proved your worth. Right now I am working on an expansion project for a client and making really good money.

Cons

Door to Door was mentioned in another post- trying to figure out if they have the right company---- Depending on what you are hired for B2B maybe but not door to door. Long hours= M- F but Im willing to put in work to be successful.
