Pros
Great benefits, unlimited PTO, amazing coworkers across departments
Cons
Where to even start? Consistent communication within this company is non-existent. Breakdowns occur frequently resulting in small matters turning into emergencies. Certain department heads simply don't care about the needs of their team members. Information often doesn't flow the way it should, and this creates tension between groups of people who are by all means working toward the same goals. This company has big ambitions, which is made clear when the executive team inevitably gives the company a pat on the back during rare all hands meetings. Speaking of all hands meetings, they barely ever happen resulting in most of the company being in the dark about what the company is up to. But when they do happen, they just feel like some kind of PR media move where everything is described as sunshine and roses. It's always great to discuss positives, but evolving as a company involves telling your employees about some of the very real challenges . The company's ambitions are often made clear in these meetings, which leads to the next point. The company is so ambitious about the future that the executive team never stops to consider the many issues plaguing the present. It's always a constant push forward, and there's seemingly never time to do analyses of current projects to maximize output. Certain departments are much worse than others, and those departments are simply unimportant to upper management. This causes friction with other departments as well. All in all, I don't recommend working for this company until they develop the self awareness to address the myriad of problems among its staff.
