Pros

I learned a lot about what I DON'T like at a job and in a company, which is valuable insight for future job searches.

Cons

Taking a job with this company was a terrible mistake. I learned a lot from it, but the people are fake, the CEO is money-hungry and the environment is negative. I think one of the things that scares the company is that internally it is not doing well, though it projects an air of "community," innovation and "up with the times." Out of fear, the CEO would react irrationally, sporadically, and with malice towards his employees, partners and competitors. Never seen a faker place than this. Much happier at my current job.

Pros

It is a stable, engaging work place that offers individuals that are progressive and willing to invest in growing their knowledge, the ability to create an optimal work/life balance in the design/build/manufacturing industry. The management style can be summoned up in a single idea. "you can do anything here, just show us the plan for success and accountability" It is a Global organization that has worked with some of the top designers and architects in the world. they do invest time, energy and resources on the people that show that they wish to grow and invest in themselves.

Cons

Communication is shared you just have to ask, but details are left to individual interpretation Being family-owned it runs a passionate balance between corporate and entrepreneur in its culture. The company's direction is guided by a strong vision and mission, but sometimes the company as a whole forgets that fact. So constant reinforcement of values, mission and values are required from the very top to the bottom of the hierarchy.
