I really enjoy working at Fairphone. I left the organisation and then came back and couldn't be happier with my decision. Recently, the company has placed a stronger emphasis on supporting its people. The leadership recognises that making a positive impact alone is not sufficient to attract and keep employees engaged long term. It’s clear the company believes that prioritising employees is key to growing both the organisation and its broader impact. This approach is clearly reflected in the salary ranges and overall employee benefits. In addition to this, the products developed continue to improve in quality and market adoption which makes it a really exciting place to work. Lastly, Fairphone has great people. You're surrounded by hardworking, talented and fun individuals, I love it.
Cons
Like every scaling tech company, there are always teething issues. However, there are so many communication channels for employees to raise their thoughts and concerns and I genuinely believe that whatever is raised is consistently listened to and tackled by the leadership team.
