Great firm - Consultant Fairwinds Partners Employee Review

The owner is great and truly cares about his people, he’s genuinely a nice person.. The pay and benefits are amazing. Really generous company. CEO will listen to new ideas/allow you to lead new projects of interest. Great for a self starter and those who work well independently and do not require a lot of guidance. Ideas welcomed.

Small company means many hats for few individuals and sometimes a lack of professionalism from management. If you have little outside work experience you might feel bullied or abandoned with the lack of guidance and clear leadership but if you have worked other corporate jobs you will appreciate the flexibility afforded to you. It is a low stress environment but requires a lot of self discipline and independent learning.

FairWinds used to have a lot going for it, but recently it has take a total nosedive. It is bleeding money, not bringing in new revenue, and there are serious issues with the viability of this company. The CEO and Founder (the other founder was essentially kicked out) have a HORRIBLE relationship and fight constantly. Not to mention the company has lost 25% of its best workers in the past few months alone. Honestly, this place is filled with dysfunction, gossip, and will teach you poor work habits. Do not recommend at all.
