Pros
The team is super young, energetic, and filled with people who genuinely care about what they’re building. Founding team is approachable and often involved in day-to-day discussions. It’s a great place to learn, especially early in your career. You get ownership and exposure very quickly. Work life balance is fairly respected. Team is understanding, and there’s flexibility when you need it. Culture encourages experimentation, and new ideas are usually welcomed. You often get to wear multiple hats. The scope isn’t rigid, which means you can explore different areas and grow beyond your defined role. Flat hierarchy (at least in most teams) makes it easy to talk to anyone and get things moving quickly.
Cons
Processes can be messy or non-existent at times, which means a lot of last minute hustle. Decision making can feel unclear, sometimes things change without much context being shared. Pay isn’t always on par with market standards, especially if you’re not in a core tech role.
