Pros
I really enjoyed the colleagues that I worked with and once I had built trust, they (mostly) left me to get on with what I needed to do
Cons
Aforementioned trust seems to be hard to earn - you have to report where you are every minute of the day on Slack. It's like they offer flexible working but at this company I wouldn't describe it as a benefit, you're too scared to go to the toilet in case you are sent a message you're expected to reply to immediately. I almost didn't go back after my first day. Firstly, it was obvious there was no trust and they get caught up on little things that don't matter. But the worst part for me was seeing the MD have a total meltdown, shouting at the poor support staff about something totally out of their control. I've never worked anywhere where the company's leadership talk and treat their employees as they do in this company. This is only a place for people with elephant skin.
