Most of management knows little to nothing about medicine. Those that work in the home office are constantly coming up with busy work and stupid little tasks to do that make no difference to patient care. Practice managers aren't allowed to really be managers; lots of micromanaging going on. Management expects you to just smile, bend over and take it from abusive patients. EMR sucks. The company expands too fast and is terribly understaffed. Management with no medical knowledge tries to tell providers how to practice medicine. Employees expected to be at work regardless of how sick they are, death of close relatives, highly dangerous road conditions, etc. Management obviously cares nothing about the well being or job satisfaction of their employees.
