Pros

The clients you work with are important and amazing, and the ideas behind the programs they falsely claim to provide.

Cons

Felton is extremely mismanaged in almost every program across the board. They pay terribly and do not provide the support nor the trainings they promise. Anybody who tries to speak up against their unfair practices is fired or forced out. They take people who are really passionate about the work they do and the clients they serve and exploit this care and passion to get keep every last cent of the money they receive circulating for the few at the top of the company. This means the actual services they provide are continually suffering, subpar, understaffed, and under-resourced. Essentially, they are a fraudulent organization. It's quite sad.

Pros

Competitive Salaries A Great & Diverse Team of Colleagues Liberal Vacation/Personal Time Great Way to Give back to your Community The Recovery Work is Important & Rewarding Flexible Work arrangements are available depending on need (Self-Care Days are promoted)

Cons

1. Productivity Goals may be a challenge for some (Minimum of 2 to 3 clients a day or 15 clients in one week, 15 billable hours a week are required) 2. Management/Upper Management: Its important to speak their language and find common ground, and understand their mission plus financial pressures from above and below. That said, each manager & leadership team are completely different, some are more productive and more cohesive while other lack guidance & proper training. Its a mixed bag depending on how well you would fit with your team and your manager's style. BURN-OUT: The recovery work can lead to burn-out due to the nature of the program. Each program is different from the next so the level of burrn out can vary. SAFETY CONCERNS: Some offices, definitely not all are located in high crime and/or drug areas in the Bay Area. Some office have to deal with issues and challenges all the time, some office, not at all, it varies.
