I have seen unethical behaviour towards me as an employee and when I challenged senior management, I was told that its not illegal behaviour so they have nothing to worry about. Employees seem scared all the time of being laid off, hence sharing of information is rare. Environment is stressful and back-stabbing. Senior management are poor communicators and some are a little too experienced to be in a fintech unicorn that needs fresh ideas and new blood. At the top end, its the feel of a members only club. You have to be a certain way to fit in. DEI needs a lot of attention and consistent commitment. What you see is not what you get.
