Cons
Poor base salary with little increases each year. This years pay increase meant losing other benefits. The bonus payment is good but hard to live on as not guaranteed income. No sick pay except from ssp. Low holiday entitlement (must take bank holidays off) and Christmas shut down so end up with only 17 days you can choose. No December or November holidays allowed. Very strict schedule when working penalised when not sticking to planned route Business does not listen to employees concerns or how to improve working day. Very little opportunities for team building, the job can get extremely lonely. Repetitive work and little notice is taken when driving conditions are bad such as snow. Fleet team send out information saying it’s safe to drive in snow red weather instead of thinking about employees wellbeing and safety.
