Pros
Some employees are very devoted and competent. Some flexibility once at middle manager level. Decent benefits in this economic climate. Provides laptops and good technical support to most employees.
Cons
Long hours for very little pay, especially at the middle management level. A large number of mean, nasty, arrogant employees who have worked there forever who enjoy forcing out competent and new employees. No accountability or logical processes. People make end runs and lie all the time. Dumb HR team. Bad behavior is a lifestyle at many levels and not just tolerated but often supported. Certain teams are very, very dysfunctional. Managers who shouldn't be managers as they have poor people skills and no prior management experience. Wimpy leaders who are scared of conflict. One building is overcrowded (where the work gets done) and one is underutilized (where upper management is based) and one is hardly ever used (only one person has an office there). In flux due to new President with the worst of corporate values increasing and the best of non-profit values decreasing.
