All decisions are very political in nature and bottom line over employees. They allow many employee activities but other than allowing the employees to participate they sponsor nothing. Example: If you department want to go to a Reds game, they allow you to go during company time but any cost is cover by the employee, they cover nothing. they don't even provide coffee in the office. There is a cash box and you must pay for each cup of coffee you drink.
