Pros

Fun work place environment, great pay (if you get any hours) and cool products.

Cons

Don't really care about employees. In the interview i was told I would be working Part Time, after that I kept being told that there was a rota being written up and that they would get a contract sorted soon, neither of those things happened and I was later that it was zero hours and that there was no contract to sign. so for I have only been given 8 hours )2 half days) across 1 month. Haven't heard from them in weeks so just assume I haven't got a job anymore.

Pros

Firebox is more than a fantastic company, it's a fun, mad and loving family. I genuinely look forward to going to work every day and collaborating with my talented colleagues. I've been working here for a year now and it no longer surprises me but still fascinates me that there are people here that have worked for the company for over 10 years!!! That speaks volumes about Firebox. The company has been around for 17 (almost 18) years but it has maintained a young and fun spirit that aims to deliver a great experience both for its customers and its employees. In the last year, I've been involved in numerous successful projects that have been a great learning curve and have helped my professional development but have also been just outright fun - from launching amazing new site functionalities, running a highly successful Kickstarter campaign to launching fun new products. I love that the company has a really positive attitude towards trying new things and empowering everyone in the company to suggest new projects and improvements. Previously I've worked in a big (famous) ad agency, I've been on the client-side as well and I have worked for a start-up and none of my previous jobs have been anywhere near as good as this one.

Cons

Since I've compared Firebox to a family in the previous section, I should say that like every family we have our ups and downs and things to improve but we're all in it together and working towards improving them together.
