Pros
I did not have a positive experience that I could consistently identify as a key strength during my tenure.
Cons
Leadership lacks a clear long-term vision and strategy for the IAM/SailPoint practice. Employee recognition and appreciation for contributions are limited. The work culture can feel political, with individual contributions not always receiving appropriate credit. Collaboration is sometimes overshadowed by internal competition, making it difficult for team members to showcase their own work. There is perceived pressure on employees to provide positive workplace ratings, which can affect the authenticity of employee feedback. The SailPoint practice has experienced frequent organizational changes without a clear strategic direction, impacting stability and long-term planning. Frequent layoffs, new hiring cycles, and the use of Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) create uncertainty and negatively affect employee morale and psychological safety. Career growth, transparency, and leadership communication could be significantly improved.
