Working at First Bridge School provides teachers with the opportunity to be part of a highly supportive, collaborative, and student centred environment. The school places a strong emphasis on teamwork, professional development, and inclusive practice, allowing teachers to continue developing their skills while making a genuine difference in the lives of students. Teachers benefit from working alongside experienced multidisciplinary teams, including therapists and support staff, creating a holistic approach to education and wellbeing.

Staff receive fewer school holiday periods throughout the year. However, this is balanced by receiving annual leave entitlements that can be used at your own discretion, allowing for greater flexibility when planning time off outside of peak holiday periods.

First Bridge Centre is one of those rare workplaces where you feel supported from day one. The management team, particularly at recruitment and supervisory level, go above and beyond to make new staff feel welcome even when joining from abroad, which was my personal experience. What stood out most was the genuine commitment to individualised learning and the openness to new approaches. the team consistently looks at each child as an individual and adapts practice accordingly. As an ABA Therapist, working in an environment that truly embraces individualised, evidence-based practice made such a difference to the quality of work I was able to deliver. The team culture is warm, collaborative and professional. I learned an enormous amount during my time here and felt genuinely supported in my development throughout.

I have no significant concerns to raise. Any growing organisation will always have areas to refine, but nothing that overshadowed what was an overwhelmingly positive experience.
