Pros

Bank is located in a wealthy area with many good prospects in the bank's market area.

Cons

Problems start at the top with this organization. CEO is dishonest and an unqualified, untrained former retail employee who knows very little about commercial lending or bank management. She's more of a figurehead while the bank is probably really run by the head of the mortgage group. This causes the bank to become a support system for mortgage by supplying their home builder and developer clients with credit lines and loans which drives referrals to the mortgage business. There has been a large amount of turnover among lenders because of this and because the bank refers builder and developer business to only a couple of lenders which causes pay and bonuses to be unequally distributed. The bank has problems with loan limits and turns down many good deals because they want to prioritize customers who refer mortgages. Senior Lending Officer is also limited in experience and should be more knowledgeable for someone in his position. The bank has invited new officers to buy their stock and have not paid those officers full value for their stock when the officer left. The bank does not give annual raises.
