Work load - Community Manager FirstService Residential Employee Review

Pros

Work life balance is 3.5 stars. Varies based on demands of the communities you manage. Many communities see demanding, board meetings are evening hours & if you manage multiple communities they all seem to have meetings at the same time & the amount of work is unmanageable about 80% of the time.

Cons

Managers are extremely underpaid, high demands, unrealistic job load & don’t even try to keep up it’s impossible & you’ll lose your sanity trying. Do your best & let the rest go as this job will suck the life from you.

Pros

They take good care of the office people

Cons

Field workers are second hand citizens. Nepotism by language. Promote people that don't have the skill sets to do the job. The people that have the common sense to be leadership at this point don't want the responsibility anymore. What does that say?
