Pros

The work is easy even if you are brand new to the fitness industry. Pay is monthly to your Paypal account, and is usually early or on-time. Cookie cutter programs allow you to create a program quickly IF YOU HAVE TO. They find the clients for you through their marketing/advertising campaigns. It's great if you need the money and are in a real slow time with your own personal training business. Otherwise, you'll make more money with just ONE of your own online training clients.

Cons

The amount of time required to do your job well in creating a program for your clients doesn't amount to even minimum wage. Approximately $5 for each client PER WEEK. And that includes the time spent answering emails and holding hands for many clients who are very demanding. They expect a lot for their small monthly fee. The website application is very slow and time consuming if you want to create your own training program. Theirs are very awkward and mostly "full body" with no rhyme or reason sometimes. The nutrition program has NO FLEXIBILITY. Meals are canned, and calories usually too high. You can not create your own meal combinations or recipes. You can add "notes" to help make them more effective for your clients. But again, it's time consuming for only $5/week commission from a client. Time off from work is usually not necessary if you can get your programs done before you have to go, or take your laptop with you. But if you do have to put yourself as unavailable and a client's program becomes due during that time and you do not do it then you could lose that client and be charged a $39 cancellation fee of that client. You only have a 2-3 day window to create your client's programs.

Pros

This is about the KUMU app. I have never heard or met Jake Steinfeld. The company atmosphere was great. Networking with other professionals in the health and wellness was amazing.

Cons

I don't think everything was thought through and organized. The app was rough in the beginning, a lot of IT problems and international customers where coaches hadn't a clue what to do. A lot of upper management was running around trying to do 10 jobs at once. Personally, As a coach I was able to get numerous people to sign up and subscribe with other coaches, engaged my own clients, and got them to begin working on their goals and have fun. Then all of a sudden after a great review, not even 5 days later, was told, "I wasn't a good fit". Sort of a scam when you have fun and actually help people. Sorry to anyone who had me as their coach and then was "transferred" to another coach to experience unhappiness.
