Pros
- Great team of co-workers, all happy and nice. Everyone helps each other on floor and in the kitchen. - Staff gets taken care off well, despite much too short breaks.
Cons
-Too short breaks. On an 8-hour shift, there's 10 minute break incl. food and bathroom. Imagine that on a Saturday evening in Covent Garden... and you need to inhale your food and squeeze in a toilet break and a breather. - There is always runner shifts along with normal waitress shifts - however it gets tough carrying wooden + stone plates and will definitely get many aches, burns etc. (even more reason for longer breaks) and also heat protection for runners when carrying food. - Late hours (closes after tube is out for the night) which makes it difficult to go home for some staff who do not live in central London. - Staff does not get to move around between the different parts (bar, hosting, serving) even when they ask if it is a possibility. Working in the same area for months on, up to a year can be very tiring and de motivating, causing bad work ethics. - Some staff have more benefits with management and gets away with longer breaks, treating friends and family to better service when coming by and leaving work earlier than the rest.
