Work long shifts - 8 hour shift gets NO break which is crazy to me, 16 hour shifts gets an hour break but again one 16 hour shift a week is insane especially when theres not much to do in the mornings so time drags quite a bit Only get your rota’s a week in advance which is poor planning - don’t expect to have a social life here Claim to be “like a family” and that “everyone is happy here” in the interview process… which is an instant red flag On my second day I was asked to train someone on a trial shift… when I was still learning myself! It didn’t even take me a week to realise that this isn’t a nice place to work When I told them about my reservations I received no correspondence - was simply taken off all of their systems without a word
