Pros
Actually, right now I can't mention anything positive about the company, except for my colleagues, and company's thirteenth salary .
Cons
Since the summer, our company has been doing "modernization" after part of Flightradar was sold, and they started modernizing for the sake of modernization and making changes for the sake of changes. The company is implementing the worst parts of old-school corporate culture, with benefits like "water and free toilet paper." But the worst part is that no one will ask you anything—all decisions are already made by new external members of the company, even when it directly relates to your team. There's no logic in the decisions, and if you just want to get your salary, then you can close your eyes to it. And finally, I want to add the worst thing I have ever seen in any company. They fired 12 software engineer contractors and terminated their accounts without even giving them a chance to say goodbye to colleagues, etc. They just terminated everything including Slack, but forgot about secrets, VPN, etc. They made people feel like they are goods, not humans. It's insane, almost everyone in the company is still sad and unmotivated after such decisions. And I also want to mention the career path - you have almost no chance of growing your career even if you work 10 years and do your best. They do not care.
