Pros

There is incredible work life balance -but this puts you in a comfort zone lots of time for preparation for entrance exams - i got loads of time for my gmat prep the ceo bhavin is very smart - though the rest of his top management's abilities are questionable the directi brand is generally very good some very smart ppl, but i see many of them leaving very quickly

Cons

The worst form of politics imaginable. At times, it feels like game of thrones was inspired by flock. unimaginable infighting amongst teams, and a product leadership team which has an ego as if they built google, while actually struggling to even copy a product successfully. There are very senior leaders who don't have the basic understanding of how to run a business - but are involved in everything because of their closeness with the ceo bhavin. Valid metrics and logical reasoning don't matter over here, and decisions will be made or overturned at the drop of a hat - and with the flimsiest of reasons. bhavin is a one man army - and barring his best friend, few managers have any say. not to say, that the managers are any good - this company has the worst middle management - which when they are not busy fighting among themselves, are screwing up things for the folks like us way down the food chain. very less value for mbas like us, who are not from premier mba colleges

Pros

Flock has made a massive investment in the go-to-market team HQ'd out of Boston, with the focus to put the right people and team in place to grow the business exponentially The leadership team each have a proven track record of professional success and more importantly, after getting to know each of them, have a dedication to growing your personal career as well. Each employee is given tremendous amounts of autonomy to experiment, build and grow Team collaboration isn't going anywhere and Flock has already positioned itself to be a major player in the space - time to execute!

Cons

As with any startup, the path has not been laid yet so there are the obvious growing pains - running into situations we haven't seen yet

Pros

Like any tech company it seems great from the outside and for the first few months. Decent benefits, decent in office perks.

Cons

No promotion, no room for growth. They signifigantly underpay staff and don't create environments for conversations to correct. Start up that only cares about executives and treats other employees poorly. Constant leadership change-over so direction, SOP's and opportunity for promotion are never created or communicated. Constant change-over once employees learn that there is no direction and no promotion and the cycle continues. Avoid this place.
