Chinese Business Model Does Not Match the American Business Model Micro-Managers The company is run out of Hong Kong while having 25 plus employees in the United States. The HR department is very old fashioned and most things are done through spreadsheets. No Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Poor Benefits The company feels if they pay you whatever you ask they can treat you like a robot. Expect late night or very early conference calls due to the time change in Hong Kong.
