Pros

Great co-workers Felt I was making difference in peoples lives Gained so much knowledge

Cons

I unfortunately have little good to say about the company, my cons would not fit in this box. Everyone, including the Physicians, are grossly underpaid for their work and collections brought in. HR was of zero help and was extremely frustrating to deal with, although this was likely due to the pressures from higher ups and lack of resources. Departments are being cut to increase profit, but that profit is not being allocated to those putting in the increased work. Burnout will continue to increase while patient safety and satisfaction continues to decrease if something doesn’t change.

Pros

Non-clinic days, you have the potential to work from home, if you want. Some of the employees are great to work with and do not hesitate to help. New management really tries to help you get the days off you need. IT is very helpful.

Cons

Job duties and expectations heavily outweigh the compensation. More responsibilities are added weekly, it seems, but no more pay. You cannot print or scan when working from home. The computers are slow and always having issues. The training is horrible and doesn't prepare for busy clinics. Since many Secretaries do things differently, it makes it difficult for the new employees to learn the right way to do things. Management claims to not micro-manage, but they do. Management is often overheard talking negatively to and about their employees and are extremely judgmental. If someone does one thing that is "wrong" in their eyes, they are treated differently from that moment on.
