Pros
Fluent has great benefits and offers a good work/life balance.
Cons
The decisions made by company executives haven’t created success in the past 3 years, and their employees are the ones paying for it. Layoffs are typical pretty much every year when not meeting market expectations. Upper management is more or less a boys club filled with guys that have been friends since college. Bottom line is they will never face the consequences of their decisions even when they are at fault for the company falling short. I can promise that at least one member of the inner circle of upper management is directly responsible for losing the company boatloads of money, but only the people under him get laid off or demoted because he’s “one of the guys”. While the social scene can be fun (tons of events, open bars, parties, etc.) the dynamic in the office can have an almost high school-like feel to it with a cliquey and toxic social hierarchy.
