Pros
- Semi flexible schedule - Improve communication skills - Some training
Cons
- If you do not sell enough, they will take your pay away. This was not disclosed upon hiring or at any point until they actually do it. The job is advertised as $20/hr plus commission, if you do not maintain 3 appointments who "sit" a week then they take away your $20/hr. This was common even for some of the most hardest working workers. - Shady practices, promises of "incentives" are never paid out even when requirements are met - Management talks down on previous employees. Claiming they "just didn't have it" and even comments like"f*ck them" - Technically self employed so you will have to pay your own taxes at the end of the year - Mandatory unpaid meetings - Little to no direction or help. You are told to sell and if that's not happening, there are major consequences. - Management makes their money from your work, so if you do not deliver, it is taken very personally. - The manager Matt has stolen from employees and singled individuals out.
