Lies & Broken Promises - Dogsbody Focus Hotels Employee Review

I cannot come up with anything positive to say honestly.

Focus management are just a bunch of former hotel employees playing at management. They pay the very minimum and work employees to the bone! They are only able to achieve a wage themselves by cutting costs, focus hotels makes literally no profits! Do not work for these imposters! I experienced, arrogant and clueless. They are the definition of fake it till you make it.

There’s are no pros to working for this employer

This company provides an extremely challenging and unsupportive work environment. The culture appears to prioritize self-preservation over teamwork, with colleagues often prioritizing their own interests at the expense of others. Promises made during the hiring process, particularly regarding expenses, are not upheld, with claims of “it’s not company policy” when reimbursement is sought. Leadership lacks empathy and places constant, often excessive, pressure on employees, frequently disrupting their workflow with numerous calls and emails while seemingly contributing minimally themselves. Overall, the environment is characterized by a lack of support, respect, and transparency. Caution is advised for those considering a role here.
