Pros

This is a remote job.

Cons

In the few years I worked at Focus Insite, the CEO loved to emphasize the importance of one of their CORE Values; Own It. Unfortnately, he failed to follow through on this core value on every occasion, always placing blame on the employees under him and never accepting fault of his own. There was constant shaming and blaming happening, no matter the circumstances. Additionally, any honest mistake made (since we are humans, that is inevitable to happen) would be held over you, used as a weapon in communications with him. I never felt truly relaxed working there. I always felt like I had to walk on eggshells, keep quiet, and bite my tongue when situations became inapproriate in the workplace. To add on, you will be asked to take on responsibities outside of your role, and are expected to accept them. If you don't accept them (even if you don't have the capacity to take on additional work), you will be looked down upon, told you are not a team player, and will never hear the end of it. I strongly advise anyone looking at working here to take the time and truly read all the negative reviews, as they stand true.

Pros

The work and pay are great. The team is tight-knit and highly collaborative. Success in the role is very achievable thanks to the in-depth training and the consistent guidance I’ve received. I couldn’t ask for more!

Cons

Nothing I can think of right now

Pros

It is remote, only benefit

Cons

Truly, there are no benefits to working here. You will not progress in your career, the CEO is ignorant as to industry standards and ethics and is abusive towards staff. Quality of work is not prioritized, merely making a good impression on the client. Discriminatory work environment and few opportunities for growth. Favoritism is abundant and dependent upon CEO's personal feelings, not performance. CEO is erratic and unprofessional which affects client relations, company performance and team morale. FI has potential but CEO reputation and the reputation of the work produced is severely lacking. Lowest pay I have seen in this industry and I was consistently expected to do work above my paygrade with very literally no additional compensation, recognition or reward. I also worked over 40 hours every week. CEO "doesn't believe in sick time" either, even if you are disabled.
