Stay as far away from this place as possible! - Provider Foothill Community Health Center Employee Review

1. As a provider, my work schedule changed from month to month or from week to week. Sometimes, there would be last minute schedule change and you would be expected to work on the day that you were initially told that you were off. 2. Lack of strong leadership, trust and communication from the management. 3. This organization will never appreciate your hard work and efforts. However, the moment they find a small mistake, they will present you with a written write up. They will not even give you a verbal warning. 4. Very difficult to get PTO approved. 5. Upper management lacks educational background and work experiences to be in the positions they are leading to lot of mismanagement and micromanagement of employees. 6. They intimidate employees so the employees will not question the management on their horrible actions. 7. Most managers and supervisors do not have enough experience yet they get easily hired because they know someone in the management. 8. The HR department is the most incompetent. If you raise any legitimate issues, you will face retaliation which can lead to you leaving the job or they will come up with ways to fire you. Do not expect them to be neutral in solving problems. They will always side with the management and not the employees even when employees are right. 9. Very poor work life balance. My manager at times called me at 4 am asking me to work on my day off. 10. The management expects providers to meet their high encounter numbers. Very little thought is given to the quality of care. Those providers who have high encounters, are protected regardless of poor quality of their work. If you are hard working, honest, and care about patients, I urge you to stay away from this place. I regret spending 4 years here trying to better this place.
