Pros

- Offers flexible work hours and a fully remote setup - Competitive salary structure - Generous holiday allowance - Advanced, albeit over-engineered, tech stack—great for engineers eager to explore cutting-edge technologies - Exceptionally pleasant team, though there's a minor caveat (see Cons)

Cons

- Management often lacks prior experience in leadership roles - Performance reviews appear to be subjective, rather than based on clear metrics - Limited transparency from upper management; job security can be unpredictable - Benefits package leaves much to be desired - Inconsistent expertise levels; many team members appear unsure of their roles - High prevalence of poor social skills, exacerbated by a culture of isolation - Steep learning curve due to complex tech architecture and lack of established processes - Communication is a significant challenge, particularly with inexperienced managers who struggle with people skills

Pros

Seriously some of the smartest and nicest people I have ever had the opportunity to work with. Great culture and the technology is the real deal so it's nice to be able to position solutions to clients you know you can deliver.

Cons

UK headquartered company that is still growing in the US. Target market is large banks who can be slow to move

Pros

Colleagues are incredibly intelligent and motivated, but their efforts are consistently undermined by a lack of support from management.

Cons

Recent layoffs were handled poorly, with no regard for the individuals affected. I was laid off and my manager never even spoke to me to say goodbye. In fact, management doesn't inform anyone when someone is let go, so you usually only find out when someone's account is deactivated. The CEO appears out of their depth and lacks a clear vision for the company. This created an atmosphere of uncertainty and fear. While the work itself was engaging, the toxic culture ultimately outweighs any positives.
