Pros

Remote, average salary, interesting product, great engineering team

Cons

Too many to list, but the main issue is that it is essentially a white boys' club with no room for growth if you do not fit that stereotype. Lack of diversity, and lack of transparency when it comes to layoffs. The company has shed almost half its workforce in the past 2 years with continuous layoffs they keep on the low to avoid admitting they are incompetent and unable to be as profitable as they should. They claim great success on various social platforms but in reality, if they always need to shed people to make numbers look good it means they are not that successful. Leadership is truly blind and couldn't care less about the rest of the team. Roles are constantly changed, people are demoted, and a lot of the management is truly unable to manage people, so they micromanage instead.

Pros

Seriously some of the smartest and nicest people I have ever had the opportunity to work with. Great culture and the technology is the real deal so it's nice to be able to position solutions to clients you know you can deliver.

Cons

UK headquartered company that is still growing in the US. Target market is large banks who can be slow to move

Pros

Colleagues are incredibly intelligent and motivated, but their efforts are consistently undermined by a lack of support from management.

Cons

Recent layoffs were handled poorly, with no regard for the individuals affected. I was laid off and my manager never even spoke to me to say goodbye. In fact, management doesn't inform anyone when someone is let go, so you usually only find out when someone's account is deactivated. The CEO appears out of their depth and lacks a clear vision for the company. This created an atmosphere of uncertainty and fear. While the work itself was engaging, the toxic culture ultimately outweighs any positives.
