More than fair use of budget. Greatest students you could imagine. No micromanaging

Small district, not many ways to progress internally. If you're a teacher, you are typically the only one who teaches your subject, not a lot of grade level collaboration. (makes you better though!)

If anything there was some retirement benefits, which were beneficial. Not alot of schools provide retirement benefits for substitutes. There was some training at first. Sometimes, you might get tea or treats at someone of the schools.

It was really difficult to get on base, which made it hard to get to work on time. I was not given an ID card at first, but rather a print out. There was not always a lot of work. I had to rely on another job to help me get by at times. If you didn't have any connections, it will make it hard to stay. Even if you have the qualifications, do not expect long term employment. Not very understanding if you get sick and can't take up an assignment.
