Open to new ideas, lots of women in a male dominated mining industry, emphasis on the Fortescue family, flat structure and non-hierarchical

Cons

Company needs to prepare itself better financially for sharp falls in the iron ore price to limit mass redundancies.

Company is working on becoming global, timezones are difficult to deal with and require tremendous personal flexibility.
