Pros
On the positive side, many of the long-standing team members are genuinely lovely people and a pleasure to work with. The work itself can be interesting and provides exposure to a variety of tasks and projects. There are also opportunities for career growth, and the company does support employees in gaining professional qualifications, which is a strong advantage.
Cons
There appeared to be inconsistent treatment of staff, particularly towards women, which at times felt unfair and reflected in areas such as pay and overall respect. Additionally, roles and responsibilities were often unclear, with employees frequently assigned tasks outside of their job scope, alongside a management style that could feel overly micromanaging.
Staff turnover seemed notably high, which is something I would encourage prospective employees to consider and ask about during the interview process.
Overall, while there are some positive aspects to the workplace, meaningful improvements in management approach, consistency, and workplace culture would be needed for me to recommend it.
