Pros
Lots of innovation as engineers and physicians collaborate
Cons
While it's great for a company--especially a start-up--to have lofty ambitions, this one has delusional leadership. The CEO constantly talks about "free healthcare for a billion people", as stated on his LinkedIn profile. No one ever asks how that's possible or in what timeframe we would be planning such a total takeover of much of the world's healthcare. No one questions how that is financially possible when even the current $149 tab is unsustainable. After all, medical offices and supplies cost money. Medical assistants and physicians don't work for free. Engineers also need to be paid. None of it makes sense. Over time, the people who remain there are the ones who drink the kool-aid. However, at some point, the math doesn't add up. The constant insulting of every part of healthcare that's not Forward gets old.
