Worrying stalking from company owner. Unhealthy obsession with young female employees - Human Resources Foundations (UK) Employee Review

Pros

I don't see any positive in placing yourself on this companies radar.

Cons

This company is lead by a coward called Paul Smith. This 'man' attempts to groom young female employees, regularly finding any excuse to visit them at their home address. In a past case he even attempted to enter into a mortgage with a female employee! This goes beyond a little help from a 'friend', evidenced by him covertly recording employees, stalking social media accounts, and even in one case MOVING house to be next door to a female employee he was targeting at the time. I have no doubt that this disgusting 'man' belongs on a register, and that the only reason a female employee seems to have not been physically harmed yet is because he couldn't win an arm wrestle with a 6 year old. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE DEVIL.

Pros

Remote working, relatively flexible working

Cons

Strong blame culture and very little transparency from leadership. Secretive management style and unprofessional environment that feels more like a school than a workplace. Favouritism and popularity determine recognition and opportunities rather than performance. Constant rollout of new AI tools and software with no proper training or time to learn them. Employees monitored (via video recording software on Teams) without clear communication or consent. No real HR structure; decisions are made informally behind employees’ backs. Expected to work beyond contracted hours and respond to messages after hours. Extra effort and dedication go unrecognised. Large pay gap between management and staff. Clear gender pay inequality. Job roles do not match what is advertised. Employees expected to cover admin, sales, finance, and project work for one salary. Heavy workload with low pay. High staff turnover for a reason

Pros

- Flexible working - Fully Remote

Cons

- Extremely poor pay - Blame Culture - Business is more interested in covering their backs than actually helping clients - Management obesession with using AI - Outdated processes designed to make things take as long as possible - Showing initiative is a punishable offence - No career progression - Very infrequent and small "bonuses" - Employee owned trust, of which we get no benefit from - Obsession with doing everything on calls for no reason
