There is a lot of subtle discrimination and bullying in the office from the Dutch employees towards the non-Dutch. The Partner of the Amsterdam office is a people pleaser, and does not speak up even when employees have complained to her about the behaviour of others. It's really a shame how some people are treated in the Amsterdam office being expats. It's a bit of a toxic culture, with very poor managers and leaders. You are being let go after one year if you do not perform, and they will hire new people to do business development, rather than investing in the training of the existing people. Very short-term results oriented rather than long term oriented. This leads to a revolving door of consultants introducing themselves to the same clients.
