Pros
Mostly a fun work environment. Upper management was very approachable before the sale of the company. Being family owned was a big plus, there was a lot of transparency about goings on within the company. Events were always great, and there was genuine interest in connecting with the community .
Cons
Pay structure wasn't the best. There is a lot of work for what seems like not a lot of reward. There is a lot of turnover, especially in the advertising department. It seems that people only stay for a year or two before they get fed up with something and leave. There was a lot of blame shifting that went on. Nobody ever wanted to admit to a mistake and would try their hardest to get out of the situations that arose when clients were not happy.
