Pros
the work can be challenging, which will keep you busy and never bored with nothing to do. most of the employees are really friendly and easy to get a long with....i've made some great friends at Freeport
Cons
your reward for good work is more work. hr has a stranglehold on job descriptions and grades with little wiggle room for managers to improve their direct reports' pay. bonus structure is based on a bell curve as though we are in college, with an emphasis on placing people in an "average" category despite whatever effort they put forth. freeport is full of "yes men" and upper management is completely out of touch with employees. there is significant resentment in the workforce due to management and upper management not recognizing good work that employees do and not pushing for appropriate compensation.
