Pros
You will love working overtime without any overtime pay!
Cons
Working under the operations management was one of the worst professional experiences I’ve had. The environment was built around criticism, not leadership. No amount of hard work, extra hours, or problem-solving was ever enough because the focus was always on mistakes. Employees were constantly blamed, micromanaged, and pushed beyond reasonable limits with little support or recognition. To make matters worse, employees across different levels and salaries were expected to handle the same workload, sometimes even more, while being held equally, if not more, accountable, regardless of compensation, support, or authority. What made it worse was that many of the workplace issues came directly from poor leadership, not the employees. Instead of motivating people to grow, the management style drained morale, confidence, and trust. Since leaving, I’ve worked in far healthier environments and realized how toxic and abnormal that experience truly was. Strong leaders build people up. The leadership here does the opposite.
