Pros

- Culture of excellence. Everyone at FrogSlayer has an attitude that is committed to doing the best possible job with every engagement. Everyone at the company legitimately cares about their clients and wants to make them successful. - Work is challenging and rewarding. The software you build is used and it makes a difference in the client's life. - There are many opportunities for growth, including conferences, incentivized reading programs, and company literature and resources. - A friendly environment with lots of community building. - Take a vacation (almost) whenever you want. You are trusted to be responsible for your work and to communicate your schedule. - Work from home when you need to. - CEO is humble and has a great vision for the company. - Company communication is great. Management strives to keep everyone up-to-date without flooding your inbox.

Cons

- Growing pains of an expanding business - There tend to be cycles of workload. Some seasons it seems the whole staff has a full workload, and other seasons there are several staff members with a light workload.

Pros

if you prefer working for a small company, that’s a pro here.

Cons

Unfortunately this company is riddled with poor management leading to multiple rounds of layoffs over and over again, but even more unfortunate is clear mistreatment and unfair expectations and treatment of employees. Even promotions and pay are given inequitably. It might be “good” for you for a while, but the tables can and will turn for reasons beyond your own control. Every business falls on hard times, but there is zero accountability taken at the top (the CEO) when this happens.
