Pros
As well as a investing in start ups, Fuel itself is an entrepreneurial environment, you need to be a self starter in order to make real headway in the team. That works for me but isn't for everyone.
The team is very close, we always have a laugh and can have open and Frank conversations about the business.
We work with and invest in some of the world's most interesting people. You build a real relationship with the companies in the portfolio.
Mark has high expectations, but you learn a lot.
We're very open about if there is something you need to change or do, and you need to be able to take constructive criticism on the chin sometimes. I've put this as a pro because, although it doesn't feel great at the time, if you can react well then it's a really important part of self improvement.
Cons
Hours can be long, but that's something you have to be prepared to do before you join.
Sometimes, it can feel like there isn't enough hours in the day to do everything you want/ need to do.
