Pros
Lots of opportunities. This is not an authoritarian top-down organization. Everyone gets a chance to participate in meaningful work in a variety of project types. I was able to advance from an intern to get an equity stake in the company.
Cons
Probably not a good fit if you need a lot of structure and direction. You will be expected to think for your self and ask for help when you need it rather than wait for it to be given.
