This company has gone down the drain in the past 5 months. The owners and CFO only care about the bottom line. I understand times are hard but the employees are not meant to be your slaves. It was a small company before and now it's even smaller since they laid off almost half of their workforce. And these layoffs were completely misguided - they basically got rid of the future of the company and just kept some older folks that will be retiring in a few years. Most, if not all, of the senior sales team doesn't even know how to use our databases and CRM systems.
Employees across the board were never really commended for all the hard work and wins but now that times are hard there is certainly A LOT of stress and responsibility being put on us, especially during the height of the pandemic when we were all struggling. They were completely insensitive. We would have "wellness" meetings to wind down from a hectic week and the owners would come on the call and only want to talk business. It really shows leaderships true colors - all they care about is $$$. We all see through the fakeness. Most of us would like to leave but we feel hostage to the uncertainty of the economy and job market.
