Pros
I was thinking about how to best express my experience at FusionStorm and I decided the best way was to share the feedback others give to me around the office: "You're always smiling" "You're always so upbeat and positive" "You're highly motivated" Based on these comments, which weren't common at previous employers, I concluded, FusionStorm brings out the best in me! The culture is truly conducive to productivity. There is no shortage of work and the company's offerings and goals are always being refined to provide a better, more compelling value for the large customer base. Generic Pros * Great office locations, employees * Better than average for company size benefits package * Exposure to many different technologies * Lots of super talented people * No shortage of meaningful work * Perfect sized; large enough to not feel like you're carrying the whole company on your back, but small enough so that there is accountability and the company doesn't fall victim to its own process * Modern IT (workstation, productivity tools)
Cons
* Some internal systems could use improvement (being addressed) * Benefits (retirement, healthcare) are very good, not great * Not a good climate for someone who can't/won't pull their weight (hopefully, not a con for most!) * Sometimes the "get it done" attitude lacks direction and strategy, but success or fail, outcomes are treated as a learning experience
