Pros

OK culture at first glance, extremely shallow at second.

Cons

management seems incompetent at best, senior positions sometimes occupied by incompetent people. Code overall is poor and egos are sometimes big.

Pros

You know that you work for is wonderful company when you can wake up every morning and don’t have that feeling that you want to call off! From the first day I started at Future POS, I have felt like part of the “Future” family and felt very welcomed. Future POS offers a very relaxed dress code and amazing benefits for full-time employees including a state-of-the-art gym, a full kitchen with a variety of hot and cold drinks and on occasion, free food . The time you get for vacation and sick time are very reasonable as well as numerous paid holidays. John and Kelly Giles are probably the most down-to-earth people I have ever worked for. They are Easy to talk to, active listeners and very approachable. I have worked here for just over a year and have never been asked to work overtime. Family-time is really important to Kelly and John.

Cons

Flexible hours would be a nice benefit.

Pros

Two pros that I can possibly think of are the gym in the basement and if you live north of Pittsburgh the commute isn't bad.

Cons

Where do I start......there is a fundamental lack of communication within the entire organization. Project planning is non-existent. Priorities are not where they should be. You are not provided adequate resources or tools to effectively perform your job. There is a lot of drama and backstabbing that goes on there. They preach a family type environment but, it is really far from that. One of the other reviewers was correct about it being very clique oriented. Management is not upfront and honest with the employees. The decision making process is horrible. Management does not support the personnel they place in leadership roles. Management only cares about what is in front of them at the given point in time and they honestly don't care about anything else that is going on within the organization. And there really is no option at all for career advancement. You will be doing exactly the same job as when you started for the duration of your time there. There are a lot better places to work.....
