Great Place to WORK! - NKBA Certified Associate Kitchen and Bath Designer GM Roth Design Remodeling Employee Review

Pros

Plenty of opportunity to make excellent income as a sales designer. Structured with processes that we actually follow, a continuous improvement strategy, support from management and a team-oriented approach, yet ability to work autonomously. Common goal is 100% Client satisfaction. Everyone works hard to accomplish that goal. And we have fun too!

Cons

Sometimes working within strict processes can feel like it's slowing you down. In the end, it is better though. It provides the groundwork for an excellent client experience. There's a long learning curve, especially if you're not used to working this way. Can be long hours, some weekends and evenings to accommodate client needs. However, considering the alternatives, it's a small price to pay for the opportunity provided.

Thank you for taking the time to provide this thoughtful feedback! We are working hard to add to the Design Team so we can spread out the workload and cut down on each person's commitment moving forward.

Pros

Very flexible in regards to work/life balance. As long as your work is being completed on time your hours in the office can be tailored a bit to meet your personal needs. Extremely aware of COVID-19 and ensures cleaning is done 2/day or more and employees are separated or working from home. The showroom is by appointment only so we don't have walk-in customers while we have ongoing meetings with clients. Very friendly employees and ownership.

Cons

401(k) contributions don't kick in until 1 year of service. I heard that will switch to 6 months soon, though.
