Working with this company has provided me with UNEXPECTED life experience and I can truly say I have grown leaps and bounds from this. The absolute PROS that GP Asia has taught me: 1. Vocabulary: I've learned from GP Asia to expand my vocabulary. The company has very proficient lingual experts that has very flowery vocabulary and it is common to see the management use the "F" word that rhymes with "DUCK" to their employees. 2. Salary: The experience given by GP Asia is PRICELESS. If you do not give them a 5 STAR review on Glass Door, don't expect them to pay up your salary. 3. Working Schedule: Not only do I need strong linguistic skills, an extremely strong body is mandatory to take up this job. If they say morning shift is possible, it is very unlikely (exception for pregnant ladies), you will have no choice but to work from midnight until 7am/8am. 4. Sick Leave: I've learned from GP Asia that as their employee, I will NEED to be healthy at ALL TIMES. If I were to fall sick with legitimate MC, they reserve the right to hold your pay or even not pay up. In some cases, they will remove the panel clinic which is nearest to your house. TIPS: Although having already an unusual sleeping schedule, DO NOT fall sick, unless you are willing to have a pay cut for the month. 5. Commitment I've learned from GP Asia to be more wary of the fine print. This is due to despite one's contract stating to receive double pay during public holiday, they might still reverse what is stated on the contract WITHOUT INFORMING and try NOT TO HONOUR the double pay. 6. Communication: I've learned from GP Asia to always have good memory. They often have "gotcha" moments whereby something they said was not honored. Be ready to listen to bunch of solutions (excuses) from the management (usually related to money issue).
