I wanted to share my experience of working at GRID Architects. For me personally it’s been a very good experience so far. From quite early on I have been exposed to exciting schemes and projects in and around London - designing to future needs and standards. I was thrilled to learn the company takes its employees on a CPD trip once a year, as a means of the directors’ recognising and thanking us for all our commitment and hard work. We also have monthly socials and fun and exciting activities planned among staff. I work with a great team of people from Part 1 to directors and we all contribute in our own way, giving us all the opportunity to learn from each other. A great bunch of people we all get along, work hard, inspire and consult one another, embracing the team spirit no matter the situation. I was particularly impressed how understanding the directors and associates are and how thoughtful, attentive and accommodating they are with our needs. They also support progression which is also a great attribute. Overall a great and healthy working environment. I am really happy I made the move.
Cons
Working on two separate floors we have banter between one another which floor is the better floor but this helps with “counting your daily steps” and achieving them on your daily count.
